Dr Suzanne Wilson has been nominated for a Cumbrian Women of the Year 2025 Award. The nomination is in recognition of over a decade of community research, activism and volunteering in West Cumbria. The research, all of which funded by WRL, has worked with marginalised communities to support them in having a voice and influence in services and institutions which impact them. The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony, sponsored by Nuclear Waste Services, which will be held at Roundthorn on 8th October
